Among the direct disciples, Sri Balaram Basu, Swami Brahmananda and Swami Premananda, spent their last days here in a room and passed away on 13th April 1890, 30th July 1918 and 10th April 1922 respectively. Swami Adbhutananda (Latu Maharaj) and Swami Turiyananda (Hari Maharaj) also spent long spells in the same room in tapasya and sadhana. This room where they stayed is situated on the ground floor to the right as one enters the building. It has now become the meditation room.
